Flours & Atta

Besan is where this company made its name. Sh. Shakti Khullar Ji set up a small besan mill around 1960 and named it Todarmal after his father. Four generations later, besan is still the product the mill is judged on, and it remains the largest line in this category.

More about Flours & Atta

Besan (gram flour)

Milled from chana in two grinds. Barik is the fine grind used for batters, sweets and anything needing a smooth finish. Mota is the coarser grind, used where texture is wanted instead of smoothness. Barik runs in 500g, 1kg and 30kg, with bulk packs of 500g*40pcs (20Kg) and 1kg*20pcs (20Kg). Mota runs 1kg seasonally and 30kg.

Wheat atta

Milled and packed quickly to protect shelf life, since freshly milled atta loses condition faster than most buyers expect. Supplied in 10kg bags and 10kg*5pcs (50Kg) bulk packs.

Makki atta

Maize flour, supplied in 1kg packs, with bulk packs of 1kg*20pcs (20Kg) and 1kg*30pcs (30Kg). This is a seasonal line. Makki demand concentrates in winter, so both supply and pricing move with the season. We would rather say that plainly than accept an order we cannot fill in June.

Multigrain flour

A blended flour supplied in 5kg packs and 5kg*5pcs (25Kg) bulk packs.

Ordering

Flours are milled in our own unit at Batala, Punjab, and dispatched pan-India. Because atta and besan are milled fresh rather than held long in stock, lead time depends on order size. Send us your quantities and we will confirm both price and dispatch timing.
